As the Uni year starts each year around Australia many overseas students will be advised that they have been awarded a place in universities like Melbourne University and RMIT. They will be excited to live in Australia.

Sadly, many will be simply unable to find decent rental accommodation due to various factors, including having no rental history in Australia, no credit history, no job,  landlords not wanting students, or accomodation near all the major colleges and universities being always full.

Students have been turned away as landlords say they can rent to young professionals and so why should they rent to students without any rental history or track record?

Sadly, students are the least favoured tenants by most landlords.
